ioSphere team sends first pre-start-check form over SWARM

One of the very best aspects of working in a fast moving tech startup like ioSphere is seeing brilliant young engineers rapidly achieving success.

In his understated way, Jeff, our talented young Integration Engineer just achieved a genuine world first.

Jeff sent a pre-start check form (for a pickup truck), from an app, installed on his phone, via the wifi enabled ioSphere gateway installed in his pickup, over the Swarm Technologies satellite network and into a cloud based HR system (built in Losant).

Most of the civil engineering firms we are working with tell us that daily pre-start checks are now a mandatory health and safety requirement for all their machinery operators. But, also that those forms are still paper based where operations are outside of cell coverage.

So... its huge that an ioSphere IoT gateway, installed on a truck or earthmover, will now allow pre-start checks (and other forms - like asset inspections) to be completed and sent from literally anywhere on earth's surface.

(while simultaneously sending the GPS, on board telemetry and allowing text messaging).

Great work Jeff!
